ok! changed template! hope it's big enough for pple to see now! especially a certain jibaobao. :P okiedokes! have been a wee bit lazy, *ahem* stahdying, so haven't updated in a while. so here i am now! yesterday was great! we had ocf in nandos! haha ok not really ocf, our group had FULL attendance (err except brian) plus some special guests who crashed, all 18 of us squeezed into nandos, to show our appreciation and thanks for one of the greatest blessings in our lives, our boss!!
a humongous thanks to dandan, er jie and yee jean for rushing around, to get a venue that is willing to SQUEEZE all of us into one table! whee! :) all 17 packed into nandos, waiting for our beloved boss to come. after an extensive amount of running around, planning AND massive lying (im a chronic liar), our boss arrived in nandos only to be ushered to his chair with a red/pink balloon tied onto it flying into the air -_- which he found rather embarrassing, but everyone insisted he sat in the chair-with-balloon-flying-into-the-air. haha! it was a great night of food, fun and laughter. and of course, showing appreciation. haha! in his hand, u'll see a *ahem* pretty scrap book with jingkai written on it. each and everyone of us wrote a piece of our heart on some pieces of paper dandan gave earlier in easter and tied it together with a nice ribbon and gave it to him! :) sad to say, the reading of our notes became a serious case of handwriting analysing session -_-. haha

the full table! WAHAHAH! ok except er jie cos she's the photographer and jillian, cos she was working and came late. hehe :) it was a nice dinner.. was disturbing sarah throughout. HAHA. i think she's so sick of me now and wants to bash my head. sigh~ won't go into lengthy detail about how boss has changed our lives, he definitely has, shared his wisdom, revelations and life with us and we are very thankful for this blessing! :) even though most of the time, our group is absolutely unresponsive during bible study and we just keep staring at each other's feet to avoid eye contact with boss so that we won't kena called to answer questions, we are listening to what he has to share and God's work in his life is simply amazing! :) okies some pictures~

ssup! :D rather eventful week. i could go on and on about my days, but seems quite pointless. just wanted to say, that in these two days, i've been well taken care of! for two days in a row :) All along i've always been travelling alone cos i stay so far from like everything else. so i usually go to school alone, come back alone.. you get the drift. gotten quite used to that idea.

but yesterday after ocf, i had two great friends who took 18 back with me even though it means they would have to walk a longer way back. To them it might have just been another bus ride but i felt really really blessed :) they could have easily taken the buses behind that will bring them to their doorstep.

and today, after zaz's dinner, we were at the bus stop waiting for bus. when we reached a number 10 came, which was the bus EVERYONE else was gona take but me. so i happily waved goodbye, and then. NONE of them got on the bus -_- cos one of them was like "eh, wait with her lah. " and i was straightaway paiseh lah! i've always been the type, i'll take care of myself don't worry. i steadypompeepee. i'm not used to pple waiting with me for bus and purposely NOT taking their bus when it came (ok maybe except xy @ warren street) i mean waiting together is fine but get on your bus when it comes mah! and 3 possible buses for them came and they just ignored the buses till i got on mine. didn't really know how to react to this, but a really BIG thank you to you guys :) i really feel very well taken care of. and very blessed at the same time :)

I really thank God for these people. :)





pei gee is in london!! haha.. woohoo! so are many concord juniors! hehe so on sunday 13 of us met up for lunch! shiok those visiting are namely, peigee, christine, mandy, JT and aruna oh i realised one thing, except for alvin. all the guys are from JB! woohoo! JB gang. haha :D. haha.. we spent most of the time eating (duh!) and talking nonsense! haha.. good time of catching up, haven't seen peigee in ages. like since concord! whoa! that's long. haha ok actually haven't seen most of the people in ages i wasn't here for a week man. haha :P except for sue lynn lah cos i saw her the whole duration of wordalive. even shared a bed. dodgy. haha! no lah :) was really quite fun. lunch in kintaro, it seemed like we booked half the place cos all 13 of us piled into half of kintaro, haha as if we owned the place. ate, talk, play. take pictures! haha standard sia! :) after that, peigee went shopping with her friend, sue and al went back. so the rest of us kinda piled into cha can ting. haha! then benson came along with someone's brother can't really rmb who. and so aruna joined them. and it was down to eight of us. haha! and christine was like POURING out lame jokes! some really quite funny. the others really cannot make it! haha :P and we really just planted ourselves there and didn't move for a good 2-3 hours. haha just talking and rubbishing away. haha.. and of course taking stupid pictures! we had a whole series of pictures of "in da hood" and "the alice face". haha!! :) really embarrassed ourselves like rubbish! but it was all in the name of good fun and of course, concord lameness! hehe and then sat around. look at watch! oh dinner time. haha.. fel and shing left. so six of us remained strong! and went for dinner at chinese experience. haha! shiok man the food. erm except for pompomgai!! haha.. si mi lai!!! haha.. so depressing but the rest were really good! haha. one thing i must announce! haha *ahem* xiaoyou was a total gentleman! well done!! :D Alice and I are very very proud of you. betul alice? haha :D woohoo! oh yar and the waitress who helped us take pictures was so cute! and xy pulled a fast one on JT and managed to con her to take a picture with JT. HAHA! steadypompeepee! :) great time of doing useless nonsense. more juniors coming. WORDALIVE 2006! Skegness. 03-08 April.

back from wordalive! it was great :) 16 of us from OCF went. and am glad that i kinda got to know most of them, ok all of them better to a certain extent! i even made a new friend who is none other than jose's brother! heh :) the bus journey there was about 5-6 hours, with a loooong jam. 7000 pple trying to pile into butlins is no joke man! but the place was really nice. hehe so june, yee jean, suelynn and me piled into chalet 122. or was it 121?! AHH! whatever it is, it's either 122 or 121 lah. haha and the other one will be the chalet full of econs pple! haha :) being brought away from the hustle and bustle of city life was really refreshing. the route there really felt a lot like the route to concord, except slightly wider and less curvy. haha! :) our toilet light kinda gave up on us on the second day which made life really rubbish! haha because we sorta had to do toilet business and bathe in the dark-ish haha. it was hmm character-building. haha and required a lot of trust! hehe.. attended lotsa talks, workshops, seminars. and learnt so much! don't even know where to begin. the theme was one God. and each day, they explored different aspects. the creator God. the Universal God. the Human God. the Sovereign God. all in all, one God. i really learnt so so much from this experience. i must say, it brought sense to a gazillion and one things that were on my mind. taught me many skills to cope with life's situations and kinda make me clear what kinda person i eventually want to become. Too many things to blog out i think. It introduced many things in a different light, helping put things into perspective for me. Some very personal, some very general, but still too much to blog. haha im lazy! i must say im very sorry to anna, cos we kinda keep pangseh-ing her for impact group. i feel very bad for it. hehe.. since we were in self-catered accomodation, we cooked most meals. it was a very interesting experience and it's beeen a long time since i had good food so many days in a row! :) not forgetting the TWO potlucks where we massively cleared stock and all made efforts to feed the ocfers! hehe fun! we went to the beach twicE! hehe the first time it was closed. so we went a second time on friday! hehe the place had so many facilities! tennis! basketball! football! you name it they have it. sadly, none of us were equipped for ANYTHINg. argh!! they had such a massive swimming pool full of huge slides and what not! haha but none of us brought swimsuits except audreydrey! and audrey didn't go swimming either. sigh~ haha it was a good time to get to know God better, and getting to know the ocfers better! hehe :) really glad to have gone for it, and no regrets!! :) i realised we don't have a group picture of all 16 of us, but will put bits and pieces of pictures that hopefully will add up to everyone lah! haha :) of course the queues to get into venues were long! i mean 1800 university students trying to fit in through the small door? haha. of course the queues were long! haha but we used the time effectively and toook pictures. nice ones, stupid ones, blurred ones, clear ones. you name it, we have it! hehe :) the joys of digicam! haha and the charger of course. :) i really encourage anyone else who has the chance to go for it next year! haha the theme is one people. im sure it's gona be good! they have such good speakers all the time! and the book fair there is amazing! haha.. i wanted to buy pretty much ALL the books there. but due to technical problems relating to the wallet, i didn't. haha :) I must say they had really creative (and corny) aspects to their programme! haha i loved the starbooks one! haha.. how lame. i like. if XYZ was a coffee, which would it be? oh i think XYZ will be earls' grey tea. countercultural yet classy. HAHA! oh! and there were so many ducks running around the placE! always in pairs, one male one female. sue and i tried to chase two pairs of ducks in different direction, hoping to mix up their males and females and see if they get confused as to which was their partner. but the ones i chased ran, and the ones sue chased FLEW. aww man! haha we must have looked like idiots. haha then again, i don't deny that fact! haha. sue, im draggin you down with me! haha :P and we played the stupid machines, trying to pick up sweets. su wen was the most pro lah! haha.. she caught two. i caught one. suelynn... *cough* ANYWAYS! haha.. and we found the 2p machine! haha and we kinda intro-ed it to sarah! and she almost wanted to ponteng impact group cos of it. heh heh! bad influence? i think so too. hahaha!!! but she went in the end lah. how can we possibly make her ponteng for stupid 2p machine games right. haha! afterall if you win, u just get more 2ps?? which is essentially what im trying to get rid of. haha fun, addcitive. bad!! haha :) but we had self control *pats back* somehow butlins really reminded me loads of genting, except that it was at the beach side lah. the general interior deco and all. very genting-ish i feel. haha without the theme park and casino lah! haha.. but there we kinda spotted a roller coaster nearby, but sue said it wasn't open. haha! as if we'd have time to go. too far away. too windy. lazy. haha :) the last potluck was a madhouse! haha.. everyone was just trying to get rid of all the food in the respective fridges! haha.. but good lah got all sorts of food man. haha.. shiok! and like everyone else in the resort was trying to sleep early cos of the morning session the next day, but the ocfers were mad. we started our potluck at 12.30 am. almost 1. why? cos our bus was at 10.30 and there was no way we would make it for the morning session and catch our bus. so we decided. let's just potluck! haha.. so we made lotsa noise, talking, laughing, screaming, shouting. but i think laughing was really very loud! but hopefully we didn't wake anybody up. didn't seem like it lah cos nobody came to raid the chalet also! haha.. and so parting was hard as always, but the journey back seemed really fast. stopped by peterborough for lunch. had this pizza meal. really cute! haha personal pizza with fries. first time eating. the pizza tasted a tinge of weird. but it was ok on the whole! haha :) ok during this seminar, i took a total of 220 pictures! haha.. but due to obvious reasons, i can't upload all. uploaded bits and pieces from different times, haha hope it helps! :) it's a nice place with a nice purpose. all in all great! definitely no regrets. at all. hehe. took 36 back with andreas! he really reminds me of min yee. anyways! being back in London, was kinda a snap back into reality. it was very sudden! haha.. and when we got on the bus on skeggy, the bus driver was like "welcome back to the real world" haha how harsh! but true. well whtaever has changed, im sure it's the inside. and it will slowly radiate outwards. cos dun really feel any immediate differences, life pretty much goes on the same. but am pretty sure that something definitely HAS changed. im just different. in a good way im sure! hehe watch this space! hahaha :P am more psyched up. hopefully can get some work done! haha.. afraid of the impending doom in a months' time, but hopefully im well equipped and i'll get through this just fine! hehe i must. i WILL. we all will. hehe jiayou everyone!! haha persevere for a bit longer and we'll be FREE! :) hehe i shall end with a piece of skegness for all to admire! hehe :) ja!!
